79 degrees

Dive One

Site: Palancar Caves
Max Depth: 60 feet
Dive Time: 49 minutes
Key Animals: Black Coral, Conch Hawksbill Turtle
Visibility: 100+ feet
Notes:  Bumpy ride as wind changed direction, despite that we made it to Palancar, worth every second, as we place face in the water coral formations await for the slow descent, that was a huge conch shell! Afterwards the sea turtle diving into the deep was a beautiful sight, it is great to dive in the marine park, the black coral is coming back to the seascape, just awesome…

Dive Two

Site: Cedral Wall
Max Depth: 55 feet
Dive Time: 55 minutes
Key Animals: Nurse shark, Hawksbill turtle, Rainbow Parrotfish
Visibility: 100+ feet
Notes:  Some time at the Palancar beach works as surface interval, as we dress up for the next dive the boat is ready and on position, backroll and there we go again…hello turtle friend oh! There is another one! And another one!… Well turtle meeting I guess, then the sleeping shark, huh! parrot fish is big, love the green and orange mix, once we surfaced Eric , Denise and Blake were just happy, me too…

Scarus guacamaia, but more commonly know by the name of Rainbow Parrotfish (terminal phase)
