Cozumel, Mexico Scuba Diving Charters


Cozumel dive trips with Albatros Charters aboard any of our charter dive boats are all inclusive: air cylinders, weights and refreshments (purified water, juice and light snack). Relocated from the United States, our certified divemasters are instructors (SSI and PADI) as well, and will be your guide throughout the trip, leading you to safe, pleasurable and memorable dives on the Cozumel Reefs. Alone or in a group, we can handle your diving needs. If you have a small group, ask us about a private charter!

Since our Cozumel dive charters are customized towards your needs and abilities, you can enjoy the time as you choose, with people who know the region and care about your diving excursions. Generally 4-5 hours is sufficient for two tank dives and 6-8 hours is sufficient for 3 to 4, with refreshments served during surface intervals. Dive with people who are going to dive based on your air consumption and allows extended bottom times, not on the clock! Email us to Customize your dive trip.

Our smaller boat, the Libra, is a 25 foot Boston whaler type boat. It is a fully covered boat with an 8 passenger count. It's a nice, clean fast boat that can get divers and/or snorkelers out to the reefs quickly without spending hours traveling each way. The Frigate, is our 32 foot boat, which has been remodeled to hold 10 divers very comfortably. Or if you've got a larger group we'll put you, privately, on a larger boat or utilize both boats to dive together. The entire crew will make sure you are well taken care of. After all, Albatros Charters believes in safe diving and good fun.

A two tank rate is $80 while a 3 tank is $120. Night dives are $50 or we can combine a late afternoon or twilight with a night dive for a two tank rate. For night dives, please have some day dives scheduled with us ahead of time and please understand that we need a minimum of 3 divers for a night dive. Rental gear and dive lights are a minimal rate as well. Or if you've got a small group, check with us about a private charter rate.

Albatros is a Scuba Schools International Latin America (SSI LA) Diver Training Facility as well as offering training in Divers Alert Network (DAN)and PADI programs. On all our dives we follow the SSI Safe Diving Tables with the exception of special computer run trips. Albatros Charters is a supporter of DAN. If you do not currently have DAN insurance, please inquire. We ask you to be a certified diver for the Albatros Charters dive trips, unless you are signed up as one of our students or charter us with your instructor. Cozumel is a great place to consider getting certified for scuba diving.

Why not go with the people who will make you feel comfortable and attend to your needs? Why not go with the people who will keep the group small (unless you are with your dive group)? This is especially important, as a new diver, or a diver getting certified, to gain the confidence and comfort level that you can get from that small group or one-on-one training or check out services. If you are interested in doing your check out dives while in Cozumel after having completed courses elsewhere, contact us and let us work with you. We have great success in children's check out dives and family diving. We'll make your dives comfortable, customized, knowledgeable as well as enjoyable and safe. EQUIPMENT: We are a Mares, Deep Outdoors and SporaSub dealer and use this equipment for our rental program. If you need any diving gear we can supply them at a minimal charge to our customers.

NOTE: Dive trips are subject to a 10% tax and national park entrance fee of about $2 per person per day.
